Appraisals

We only appraise hands on. We do not appraise based on photos, faxes, e-mail, or phone conversations.

We can provide a written appraisal of the fair market value, wholesale value, or insurance value of some or all of your items, including Class III items.

We reserve the right to reject any application for appraisal services, and will not be a party to any attempt to establish valuations that are inconsistent with our professional judgment.

Services and Fees

For items received by us for appraisal and not requiring any written documentation, we provide a verbal estimate of fair market value at no charge, as a courtesy to you. If these items are shipped, please include sufficient postage for return shipment.

For items received by us for appraisal and requiring preparation of a written appraisal, allow 10 working days for preparation of documents:

	firearms - $25.00 for the first one, $20.00 for each additional item.
	militaria items - $15.00 for each item.
	If these items are shipped, please include sufficient postage for return shipment.

Travel to appraise items involves all of the following:

	mileage charge at $0.31 per mile.
	$500.00 per day, maximum 8 hours per day.
	written appraisals on 40 items, with additional items at $10.00 per item.
